The Auto Skills Challenge is an annual signature event in which first-year and second-year automotive students compete separately in a series of real-world automotive tasks. Throughout the competition, students will demonstrate their abilities in diagnostics, repair procedures, tool usage, safety practices, and overall technical proficiency.
Top performers in each division will earn prizes such as professional tool sets and industry recognition, highlighting both their dedication and career readiness. This year, more than $10,000 in awards and prizes will be presented, thanks to the generous support of West-MEC’s industry partners.

Boom Ball is an all-new, high-energy experience built for fans of every age that blends real baseball with live performance, comedy, music, and nonstop action featuring two personality-packed, co-ed teams, the Lucky Llamas and the Chaos Crew.
