His mother—a classical pianist who at age 90 still teaches on the same grand piano Chuck grew up with—his father’s extensive jazz collection, and the local roots Blues on the radio kept the house constantly alive with an eclectic mix of music that inspires Chuck to this day. He began playing the guitar at age 10, heard his first Lightnin’ Hopkins album at 13, and never looked back.
