3/9/2023 | Chuck Hall was born in Louisiana and raised on the Texas side, growing up in a very music-oriented family. His mother—a classical pianist who at age 90 still teaches on the same grand piano Chuck grew up with—his father’s extensive jazz collection, and the local roots Blues on the radio kept the house constantly alive with an eclectic mix of music that inspires Chuck to this day. He began playing the guitar at age 10, heard his first Lightnin’ Hopkins album at 13, and never looked back. That is why each year we have a 5k to bring all known veteran resources in one place to bring help & awareness to our local veterans! There will be a live DJ, Blood Donation Bus On site, Raffle Prizes, Local Vendors, Food Trucks, Awards Ceremony & More! Also, each runner who runs in our 5k gets to nominate a local veteran that they know and run in their honor!
