Aurora Behavioral Health System is licensed by the State of Arizona and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for 90 inpatient treatment beds and outpatient services. We are accredited from the Joint Commission of Accreditation on Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Aurora provides acute inpatient care for adults and adolescents who are experiencing mental, emotional, or behavioral disturbances and/or substance abuse programs. Each program is specifically designed to meet the needs and situations of each patient.Aurora Behavioral Health System is dedicated to the wellness of individuals, their families, and the community through prevention, intervention and treatment. Aurora Behavioral Health System has an established voluntary intake process available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.

Intensive Outpatient Mental Health Program for Adults
Admissions are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for adolescents and adults. From time of admission, you are met with a multidisciplinary treatment team including psychiatrists, social workers, family counselors, nurses, adjunctive therapists and chemical dependency counselors. The treatment team works directly with you and your family or significant other. Your treatment and discharge planning begin at the time of initial assessment and continue until you are discharged from the hospital.
Inpatient hospitalization offers an intensive evaluation and aggressive treatment in a safe and secure setting. Once admitted, you will receive a comprehensive assessment of your needs and strengths allowing the treatment team to develop and individualized treatment plan to ensure you meet your recovery goals. Adolescent patients and their families are engaged in family therapy in addition to coordinating their discharge planning with the appropriate outpatient services.
