The event is aimed at celebrating the progress of the organization working to end poverty, while helping NourishPHX in supporting the 25,000 families it serves each year. The goal for the event is to raise $75,000; funds go directly to programs that benefit low-income and working families across the Valley.
The breakfast will feature stories of hope and resilience in the local community, including videos from NourishPHX clients and volunteers.
Beyond the Pantry will feature Food Network Star, Chef Jeff Kraus from the Crepe Bar, who will provide breakfast, along with Chef Gabe Gardner from GCU’s Culinary Arts Program, who is the latest chef featured in “Think Inside the Box,” a social media campaign where local Valley chefs demonstrate the amazing dishes that can be made from what is donated in one of the NourishPHX food pantry boxes.
The event will also feature a designer handbag and jewelry silent auction.
