Event Description
Maricopa Education Center (West-MEC) will host its inaugural Career Signing Day, an intimate yet high-energy celebration recognizing graduating students who are committing to careers in high-demand industries.
Modeled after a college athletic signing day, students will sign letters of intent to be hired, officially marking their transition from classroom to career. Each student will be joined by their industry partner, who will present job swag and celebrate their hiring commitment in a visual, photo-friendly moment.
The event showcases West-MEC’s commitment to preparing students for immediate entry into the workforce across diverse career pathways, with many participating employers representing the skilled trades in recognition of National Skilled Trades Day on May 6.
