Big Daddy D and the Dynamites are celebrating their 25th year anniversary and has been a featured act at Westside Blues and Jazz for several years! Saturday night's configuration features a great balance of talent starting with Big Daddy D, Darryl Porras on guitar and vocals. Darryl was the lead guitar player for the 2022 Memphis International Blues Competition Band "Cros" that finished 2nd overall and has been nominated to the AZ Hall of Fame numerous times. His guitar style is modern Blues and his solos are electrifying! Along side him is Betty J Vachon, an incredibly soulful Blues singer, that connects with the crowd in a way that very few can do! You'll love her power and delivery! On sax is Rachelle Romeo, who is a gifted player, that was in the Memphis "Cros" IBC band. Her solos are as skillful and intense as you'll hear! On keys from the Cold Shott band, is Anita Benavidez, yet another great singer and player in Saturday's lineup! Rounding out the rhythm section is 2019 Heritage Blues Hall of Fame drummer, Dr. Bob Sellani and bassist Scott Jeffy.
