Texan singer-songwriter and national country star sensation Parker McCollum is hitting the stage at the Events Center at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino on Saturday, December 16 for a live performance–one of the last few performances of the year.
McCollum is the mastermind behind the album “Gold Chain Cowboy,” which launched his career into the country music mainstream in 2021. His newest album “Never Enough” positions him as a country music star who is here to stay. McCollum’s intertwines rock guitar and a traditional country sound that encompasses not only the realness of country music, but also his originality as an artist. McCollum is “sturdy as a live oak” and knows exactly who he is, according to his official biography.
Each song on the album offers a wide-range of unique melodies–everything from ballads to simple vocal-and-piano arrangements. He continues to showcase his talents to the world and introduce himself to new fans who will quickly appreciate his timeless style of country music.
“I’m never thinking about singles,” says McCollum. “I’m trying to just write songs that can potentially stand the test of time. That’s the sole purpose of writing songs for me. Hopefully, one day, people will look back at what I’ve done in country music and think it was honest and good for the genre.”
