Every child in Arizona deserves a safe environment where they can thrive. That is why, since 1986, the WVCCC has provided safe placement services for children who are victims of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Our mission is to be proactive in ending the cycle of family violence through education, prevention programs, and safe placement services to promote healthy family environments for the future of Arizona’s children.
WVCCC finds caring families for children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse, neglect or abandonment. WVCCC trains and supports adults who want to become foster and adoptive parents and assists with matching families with the children and youth. Currently, Arizona’s foster care system is in crisis with over 18,000 children in foster care. Our goal is to provide the children with the services that they need to ensure their safety and well-being while they are in a family environment.
WVCCC saves children’s lives.
